Blu-Ray Rip/Encode Guide

This guide is comes in 3 parts:

  1. Ripping:  getting the digital data decrypted and off the optical media onto your computer
  2. Encoding:  putting the audio, video and subtitle components together in the right format
  3. Using:  Setting up a home media server, and viewing your ripped files on myriad devices.

Only Part 1 is currently online.  It’s a big topic, and I want the guides to be easy enough for beginners, but still complete enough that your finished product is AAA-grade (unlike what you see in video-streaming services).  So please bear with me while I assemble and format the other 2 sections.
